Using Literature to Teach Math: Making the Creative Connection for Students on Alternate Assessment – for MSD Bootcamp Participants ONLY

This training is a hands on experience to explore a wide variety of mathematical concepts within a literature context. Participants will learn strategies for instructing early numeracy, fractions, algebraic reasoning, and geometric principles with a real world application. Participants will leave the training with materials to use during instruction.
NOTE: Participants need to bring scissors, markers , glue sticks and a bin or box to carry instructional materials home.
