MAKE-UP NEW AA Participation Guideline Work Session

This session is designed to provide guidance and support to Admissions and Release Committee (ARC) members in the application of the recently revised KY Alternate Assessment Participation Guidelines. Participants will engage in an in-depth look at each of the participation criterion and the relevant data and sources of evidence to support each decision.
Teams will have the opportunity to practice determining participation in Alternate Assessment by synthesizing the student case study data from various scenarios. Districts need to consider sending individuals who are gathering data and making decisions for students. Team members may include but are not limited to DoSE, Building Level Administrators, Guidance Counselors (any ARC chair), resource teachers, therapists, and MSD teachers.
Interested participants must have completed the online training modules and quizzes prior to the session.
