The focus of this session will be evidence based instructional strategies for supporting social/emotional/behavior skills. Outcomes will include the understanding and connection between data used for the FBA (functional thinking), replacement behaviors within the BIP and behaviors described within the present level, goals, SDI and method of measurement of the IEP. Participants are urged to bring a student FBA/BIP/IEP for application activities.
HLP4: Use multiple sources of information to develop a comprehensive understanding of a student’s strengths and needs.
HL11: Identify and prioritize long- and short-term learning goals.
