Science teachers worked hard creating phenomena bundles for the Kentucky Atlas of Phenomena, a KDE resource to support teachers in using local phenomena to create anchoring phenomenon lessons aligned with the KAS for science. Such lessons engage students by using real-world, authentic science phenomena that students can observe and wonder — asking their own questions to drive learning of the important big science ideas they need to learn.
